A Local HVAC Story Built On Experience
Springwood Lake HVAC is a Columbia heating and air company led by owner-operator Xzarius Ryans, a Black-owned business with more than 17 years of hands-on experience in service, installation, ductwork, and maintenance. Holding a South Carolina Mechanical Contractor License, EPA Section 608 Certification, and ACCA membership, we focus on accurate diagnostics, safe installs, and honest guidance so homeowners and property managers understand their options and feel confident in every decision they make.
A Better Way to Serve
Before Springwood Lake HVAC opened in 2021, Xzarius spent years in the field as a technician and installer, fixing systems, running ductwork, and seeing how often customers felt pressured or left in the dark. This business was created to do things differently, with clear pricing, multiple repair or replacement paths, and plain-language explanations. We want every visit to feel respectful and straightforward, so you finish the appointment with a comfortable home and peace of mind.
Honesty At Every Step
We believe HVAC work should make life easier, not more stressful. During each visit, we listen first, inspect carefully, then walk you through what is urgent, what can wait, and what will improve comfort or efficiency. You choose the option that fits your budget, and we stand behind the work. Our goal is to build long-term relationships, so you always have a trusted team to call for service, new installations, duct upgrades, or indoor air quality improvements.

Xzarius Ryans
Owner & Founder
Xzarius Ryans leads Springwood Lake HVAC as a true owner-operator, bringing more than 17 years of real-world experience in HVAC service, installation, ductwork, and maintenance agreements. He holds a South Carolina Mechanical Contractor License and EPA Section 608 Certification, which gives customers confidence that every job is handled safely and up to code. Xzarius began as a technician, moved into installation, and saw firsthand how confusing and stressful HVAC decisions could feel for families and property managers.
Springwood Lake HVAC was built to change that experience. Xzarius believes in clear explanations, multiple options, and work that focuses on long-term comfort rather than quick sales. When he visits your home or property, you talk directly with the decision-maker who will listen, inspect carefully, and recommend what truly fits your needs and budget.
